Ryan Sessegnon has rejoined Fulham on a two-year deal following the expiration of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur. The 24-year-old returns to Craven Cottage until 2026, with the option for an additional year. Sessegnon, who originally moved to Tottenham from Fulham in a £25 million transfer in August 2019, returns to the club where his career began.
During his time at Tottenham, Sessegnon's progress was hindered by recurring hamstring injuries, leading to a total of 57 appearances for the club.
"It's amazing to be back. Emotional, as well," said Sessegnon. "It's where it started for me, where everything began. It will always be home for me. I think it had the feeling that it was meant to be, coming back here, so I'm delighted to get it done."
In his previous stint with Fulham, Sessegnon made 120 senior appearances, scoring 25 goals and providing 18 assists. He also spent the 2020-21 season on loan at German club Hoffenheim while with Tottenham.
Sessegnon's return is marked as Fulham manager Marco Silva's first signing of the summer. The club is also engaged in discussions for a potential deal with Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, following an initial offer that was rejected.
