West Ham United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Moroccan full-back Noussair Mazraoui. If finalized, the deal will see the Hammers pay an initial €16 million (£13.47 million) for the 26-year-old, with an additional €3.5 million (£2.95 million) in potential add-ons.
Discussions regarding personal terms are ongoing for Mazraoui, who has attracted interest from several clubs this summer, including Manchester United.
Mazraoui, born in the Netherlands, began his career with Ajax before moving to Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2022. Last season, he made 29 appearances for the Bundesliga club across all competitions.
In other news, West Ham are also in negotiations with Aston Villa over striker Jhon Duran. Villa is open to allowing Duran, who joined from Chicago Fire for approximately £18 million in January 2023, to leave. The striker has started only three Premier League matches and is seeking a new opportunity.
