Chelsea have completed the signing of Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, the Premier League club confirmed on Tuesday, in a deal reportedly worth £30 million ($38 million, 35 million euros).
The 25-year-old has penned a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, reuniting him with Chelsea's new head coach Enzo Maresca, with whom he collaborated last season.
Leicester will benefit financially from Dewsbury-Hall's departure, as the transfer is seen as a significant boost to the club's adherence to the Premier League's profitability and sustainability regulations.
The fee represents a substantial profit for Leicester, given that Dewsbury-Hall progressed through the ranks of the Midlands club.
During his tenure at Leicester, he amassed 120 appearances and netted 17 goals, 12 of which were scored last season when the club secured promotion to the Premier League.
