West Ham United are nearing a deal for Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville. The Premier League club, under the guidance of technical director Tim Steidten, is actively looking to bolster manager Julen Lopetegui's squad this summer.
Summerville, who was named the Championship Player of the Year last season, has become West Ham's primary target. Sources indicate that discussions are at an advanced stage, and personal terms with the 22-year-old are not anticipated to be an issue.
The Dutch forward enjoyed a standout season, netting 21 goals across all competitions. Despite his individual success, Leeds fell short of promotion, losing to Southampton in the play-off final.
In addition to pursuing Summerville, West Ham has also engaged in talks with Borussia Dortmund regarding a potential move for German striker Niclas Füllkrug.
