Bologna have secured the signing of Dutch international forward Thijs Dallinga from Toulouse, the Serie A club confirmed on Tuesday.
Dallinga joins Bologna for a reported transfer fee of 15 million euros ($16.3 million) and will replace Joshua Zirkzee, who recently moved to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old forward, who has one international appearance, enjoyed a successful tenure at Ligue 1 club Toulouse, scoring 37 goals across all competitions over the past two seasons. His performance included a double in the French Cup final last year, which helped Toulouse win their first major trophy since the club's establishment in 1970.
Bologna will start their season under new coach Vincenzo Italiano with an exciting debut in the modern Champions League. Their opening match is scheduled against Udinese on August 18.
