Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the son of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has signed his first professional contract with AC Milan, the club where his father had significant success.
At 17 years old, Maximilian is set to join the Milan youth team for the upcoming season, aiming to build on his father's legacy. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who retired from football last year, is now serving as an advisor for AC Milan. During his two spells with the club, Ibrahimovic scored 93 goals in 163 appearances and contributed to their Serie A victories in 2011 and 2022.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's illustrious career includes stints with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United. He scored 511 career club goals and won 34 trophies, including 12 league titles. His career, which began in the late 1990s, saw him nominated for the Ballon d'Or 11 times. He is also Sweden’s all-time top scorer with 62 goals in 122 international matches. The only major club trophy missing from his collection is the Champions League; his sole European title came with Manchester United in the 2017 Europa League.
