Real Madrid secured a 1-1 draw against Las Palmas on Thursday, with Vinicius Junior scoring a second-half penalty to prevent the Spanish champions from suffering their first league loss of the season.
The penalty, awarded for a handball by Alex Suarez, was converted by Vinicius in the 69th minute. Prior to this, Real Madrid had fallen behind due to a goal from Alberto Moleiro in the fifth minute.
The result marked Real Madrid’s second draw in three La Liga matches this season, leaving them fourth in the standings and four points behind rivals Barcelona.
In a separate fixture, Girona defeated Osasuna 4-0. Osasuna's performance was lackluster, with only one shot—none on target—and no corners won. Girona dominated the match, with Bryan Gil scoring the opening goal in the 34th minute. Viktor Tsygankov and Abel Ruiz added goals within a three-minute span around the 53rd minute. Cristhian Stuani completed the scoring with a fourth goal late in the game.
